Well Child Services

The physicians and medical staff at Greenville Pediatric Services strongly recommend our patients receive yearly "check-ups," or well-child examinations as part of preventative pediatric care.

We encourage parents to use these visits to voice any questions or concerns they may have regarding their child's health, development, behavior and overall well-being.

Well child visits are performed during the first year of life at 2 weeks, 2 months, 4 months, 6 months, 9 months and 1 year. We encourage you to familiarize yourself with our vaccine policy.

Toddler visits are performed at 15 months, 18 months, 24 months, 30 months and 36 months.

Older children are seen on a yearly basis.

At each of these well child checks, we perform certain tests and assessments as recommended by the AAP, such as developmental screening, vision and hearing tests, and depression screenings. Some of these tests and assessments may result in separate charges to your insurance. We offer all immunizations as recommended by the American Academy of Pediatrics, the State of North Carolina, and the CDC.

We offer full school and sports physicals for all school-aged children. Many parents choose to combine these with their child's yearly well child check. Please allow 3 business days for completion of all school, camp and sports forms.

If you would like to schedule a routine physical appointment or follow-up appointment, please call the office between 8:00am and 5:00pm on weekdays.

Immunizations

Our immunizations are administered according to the guidelines provided by the American Academy of Pediatrics (AAP) and the Center for Disease Control (CDC). Our staff and physicians strongly believe that all children should receive the vaccines recommended by the AAP and CDC.

We will be happy to discuss vaccines at your child's next appointment.

Mental Health Services

We offer mental health services, including care for anxiety, depression, and ADHD.

Together a plan will be created that meets your family's needs. Follow-up visits are required and provide an opportunity to share concerns and any changes that are needed.

CHADIS

Introducing CHADIS - No more filling out developmental paper forms in the office at the time of your visit. Now, you can complete questionnaires in the comfort of your home before your scheduled appointment. A preventive electronic service that can be accessed by phone, tablet or computer.

A service prompting system that uses automated reminders by email and SMS for patients to:

  • Prior to the visit, patients complete online questionnaires that address issues like 'Ages and Stages', Behavioral Health, Vanderbilt testing and more that are chosen by the office and automatically assigned appropriately for the type of planned visit and the patient's age.

CHADIS is:

  • A reminder system for well-child visits.
  • Elicits patient/family priorities, concerns and goals.
  • The online consent form documents the patient's consent to share information and be contacted by the receiving provider.
  • Also send questionnaires in advance for certain mental health and ADHD visits.
  • Teachers can be invited to provide data (including graphical representation) that can be shared with both medical and behavioral health providers.

How do I use CHADIS?

  • Download the CHADIS app.

You will receive a text reminder before the appointment to fill out:

  • Health History
  • CHADIS forms, if a CHADIS customer
  • Optional Photo I.D. and Insurance Card Scanning

You are able to complete all the information needed before you walk through the door.

When you arrive, simply open the app to check-in and complete a quick COVID-19 questionnaire or other necessary forms.
